NEW YORK STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATION WORKSHOPS
PLANNED FOR WOMEN AND MINORITIES
Women TIES (Women Together Inspiring Entrepreneurial Success), a Central New York business dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs expand their local, state and regional marketplace in New York State, will host two special certification workshops for women entrepreneurs and minorities in March and April.
Women TIES will host two workshops for woman and minority owned businesses interested in obtaining New York State and Federal Government certification on March 12, 2013 from 9a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 200 Genesee Street, Utica and on April 2, 2013 from 6
p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce, 420 East German Street,Herkimer. The workshops are sponsored by Adirondack Bank, Transfirst, LLC, Business Training Institute, Inc. and Women’s Business Center of New York State who assist women and minorities in 29 counties throughout New York State interested in starting or expanding a small business.
The event features Deborah J. Cabral, President and Owner of Cabral Enterprises, LLC, a New York State Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) and Nationally Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBENC) who will share with attendees why she obtained the two certifications and what to expect during the process.
